Village Dairy

Dinner was getting predictable. We gave it a wildcard.

Village Dairy is an Australian dairy brand with roots in Victoria, producing everything from paneer and yoghurt to traditional dairy drinks. Built on a heritage of quality, family and care, the brand is bringing its products to more Australian households as it expands into major supermarkets.

‍

The Brief

Village Dairy was expanding beyond its traditional Victorian market, entering 110 Woolworths stores.

The brand already had strong foundations in Food From The Heart, but its positioning, visual identity, packaging and communications needed greater consistency as distribution grew.

The challenge wasn't to reinvent Village Dairy. It was to strengthen what already existed, introduce the brand to new audiences and give consumers more reasons to recognise, trust and choose it.

The Work

We started with the foundations, refining Village Dairy's visual identity, packaging architecture and brand guidelines to create a more consistent and recognisable brand across products and touchpoints.

Building on the existing Food From The Heart platform, we developed a social-first content strategy and brought the brand to life through original photography, short-form video and creator-led UGC. From the people behind the products to the care that goes into making them, we built a content library designed to make Village Dairy's quality and heritage tangible.

To support its Woolworths expansion, we developed “Dinner Needs a Wildcard”, a creative campaign positioning paneer as the unexpected ingredient that makes everyday meals more interesting. We brought the idea to life through a hero film, cutdowns and social creative, supported by targeted Meta advertising and campaign optimisation.

The paid campaign generated over 2.15 million impressions. Village Dairy's Instagram also reached over 700,000 accounts and recorded 1m views during its first month.

From brand foundations to supermarket shelves, our work helped Village Dairy build a more consistent presence and introduce its products to a broader Australian audience.
